History, Mission, and Philosophy


History

Medical Rehabilitation Centers, Inc., a Kentucky corporation, was formed in May 1992 as a successor to affiliated companies who commenced business operations in 1989. In 1989, the company was engaged to manage pediatric long-term healthcare facilities. In 1990, the Company added the management of geriatric long-term healthcare facilities to its scope of activity. In 1996, the Company acquired two assisted living facilities.




Mission Statement

Medical Rehabilitation Centers, Inc. will strive to provide quality healthcare services, products, and programs at affordable costs for those individuals and companies we serve. We believe quality and excellence are fundamental to our business and we adhere to the highest professional standards in all activities, programs, and services we provide. We believe leadership and responsibility are inseparable and promote integrity of performance as the keystone by which we will build and retain the trust of the people served and employed by our company.


Philosophy

To be guided by the highest standards of professional conduct in operating our company and in providing dependable, up-to-date services, so we maintain a reputation for excellence with our clients, employees, and community.

To emphasize what is best for our company as a whole, never sacrificing quality of care or service in order to enhance profits, and to conduct ourselves always in a professional and ethical manner.
